Meet our founder

Hi! I'm Allison, founder of The Curated Community — a space where strategy meets heart in the art of building meaningful communities.

For the past 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping people connect, grow, and belong. My journey began in a statewide professional association, where I learned the ins and outs of membership management and what truly makes people feel part of something bigger than themselves. From there, I spent more than a decade at the largest independent faculty development organization in the country, leading efforts to strengthen engagement, refine communication strategies, and create intentional experiences for hundreds of thousands of members.

At The Curated Community, my goal is to help build communities that are not only well-designed, but deeply felt — ones that grow in both numbers and value.

I received my degree in Communication from Michigan State University with a specialization in Public Relations, and I live in metro Detroit with my husband and two daughters.
